Why consider
.txt for translating?

1
Our translators are also copywriters

Very few translation agencies have solid expertise in Copywriting. The translators on our team have been chosen not only for their expertise in translation, but also for their writing skills.

2
One point of contact. Many languages.

Your dedicated Project Manager can lead a team of up to 60 linguists to translate your content to and from more than 20 different languages at the same time.

3
Your content delivered where you want it

Simply tell us how and where you want the content to be delivered: as plain text or HTML, in a Word document or in Drive, via API or on a dedicated cloud platform, uploaded to your CMS or published on your website – .txt will work with you to minimise your workload, so you can focus on the big picture.

4
We love to transcreate great articles

For online magazines and content outlets, we will beautifully transcreate articles daily, with a turnaround time of 6 hours or less.

5
Free samples and unlimited modifications

Before starting, you will receive a free work sample so we can work on it together until you are completely satisfied. After delivery, you can request an unlimited number of modifications.

6
Urgent translation task? No problem.

There are no extra charges for urgent requests. 98% of our clients have been asking us to deliver work “ASAP” over the past 10 years. We have organized all our operations based on this expectation.

Languages

We can translate between virtually all combinations of the following languages. However, if your project is highly specialized or technical, contact us to see if we have the appropriate linguists for your language pair.

Fields of
specialisation

A specialized translator is able to understand the subject matter in depth and reproduce it faithfully, as well as add value to every text.
Tourism & hospitality

Over the years, we have had the opportunity to work with leaders in the tourism and hospitality industries such as Hilton Hotels, The Sheraton Group, Relais & Châteaux, Accor Hotels, NH Hotels, Airberlin, Iberia, and American Airlines, among many others. We have also translated numerous documents for the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and for the Argentinian Secretary of Tourism.

Transcreation

The challenge of transcreation is to make the translated text sound like original copywriting. We have built a multilingual team of translators that have that special gift. The next challenge is to deliver the completed work as soon as possible, because of the urgency of social media content. Over the past two years, we have delivered on average more than 15,000 words of transcreated articles per day, in 5 languages, for the Yahoo! News, Yahoo! Finance, Yahoo! Sports and Yahoo! Beauty official portals.

E-Marketing

Since we offer Optimisation services for Search Marketing agencies, many of our translators are also experts in SEO, SEA and SMO, as well as in traditional Marketing skills, such as Market Research and Sales Strategies.

Legal & Financial

Our team of legal translators carry out translations in very specific fields, such as European Customs Law, Intellectual Property and Commercial Law. We also have translators who are specialists in financial topics, such as Forex (Europe), bankruptcy (USA) and insurance (Spain, France), among others. We have translated over 400 Legal Notices and Terms and Conditions for websites around the world.

Technical / Industrial

Forming a solid team of experienced technical translators has been a primary focus for .txt over the past three years. As a result, we have assembled a group of translators and proofreaders who are engineers or who have superior knowledge in highly specific fields such as Aeronautics, Sailing and Industrial Automation.

Art & culture

Even though we do not have literary and academic translators for all languages, we have assembled a small group of outstanding linguists, including university professors, writers and proofreaders from major publishing houses.

Fashion, Health, Sports

Fashion blogging, Fitness, Spas, Beauty treatments, Health.

Medical

Pharmaceutical, Medical Equipment.

Pricing

  1. Our pricing model is a per-word rate, different for every language pair. Translation rates are from EUR 0.08 to EUR 0.13 or more per word, depending on the language and the level of expertise.
  2. All our translation rates include proofreading by a different person than the copywriter. This helps ensure no mistakes are overlooked.
  3. If you have a large project in mind, or work that needs completing on a regular ongoing basis, please contact us to discuss special pricing. We do offer generous discounts for volume and to regular clients.

Quality
assurance

No technology can replace the intuition and expertise of an excellent translator and the gift of a great writer. Our Translation process was created based on that fundamental truth, and is further bolstered by adhering to the following:
  1. The European Quality Standard NF EN-15038:2006.

  2. The ASTM F2575-06 Standard Guide for Quality Assurance in Translation.

  3. The Kaizen Philosophy of continuous improvement with the corresponding PDCA methodology: Plan, Do, Check, Act.

  4. The accumulated knowledge and experience of our agency over the past 10 years.

  5. The creation of Style and Requirements Sheets and two instances of verification by our PM. This is only possible with an agency that works with Project Managers that are also linguists.

Our working methodology is the result of ten years of experience and an exhaustive analysis of the feedback we obtain from our clients and translators. Unlike other translation agencies, our Project Managers are also translators who participate in the proofreading process, verifying each version of the text. The use of General Translation and Proofreading Standards, as well as Specific Standards for each project, forms the basis of our system for continuous improvement.
